Introduction

To support individuals or collectives in networking and knowledge sharing. This grant aims to animate the Community of Practice through curating knowledge-sharing spaces, facilitating peer learning, building infrastructure for collaboration, and/or hosting regional and international practitioners.  The grantee will propose and execute a project that meets an established need within the community and focus on learning exchange and collaboration.

Scope

The Community Catalyst Grant is designed to provide support for the development and presentation of collaborative work by an established or export-ready artist. This can include, but is not limited to, providing workshops, meet-ups, digital forums, lectures, and exhibitions.  This project may also support a national institution or project. The recipient is awarded $10,000 in direct funding to complete the proposed project. In addition, this grant includes the use of the Mind’s Eye Centre without additional cost for staffing the Centre during the programme, ensuring that creative workers have access to professional facilities without incurring venue costs. The grantee’s biography and their project will be featured across CNCF media platforms to help support visibility for the work and the creative professionals involved.  This grant represents an investment in knowledge sharing and talent development in the Cayman Islands
