Who can apply for a CNCF Grant?

CNCF Grants are open to creative practitioners who are resident in the Cayman Islands and have lived in the Islands for at least twelve (12) consecutive months prior to applying. Applicants must be actively working within the cultural and creative sectors and carry out the proposed activity primarily in the Cayman Islands.

Both Caymanian and non-Caymanian residents may apply, provided they meet the eligibility requirements of the specific grant.
 

Can groups or collectives apply?

Yes. Applications may be submitted by individuals or groups, including informal collectives formed for a specific project. Groups must designate a lead applicant who will act as the primary contact and be responsible for managing the grant funds.

Groups are required to have a bank account with at least two authorized signatories.

Are there age restrictions?

The grants are primarily intended for applicants aged 18 and over. Projects involving minors may be considered where appropriate adult supervision, parental consent, and safeguarding measures are clearly outlined. In exceptional cases, individual minors may be supported with the required documentation in place.

Do I need to be Caymanian to apply?

No. CNCF Grants are open to both Caymanian and non-Caymanian residents, provided applicants meet the residency and eligibility requirements.
